Adobe Textile Designer Extension

Adobe Photoshop Textile Designer Extension (Beta)

I am really enjoying experimenting with the Beat version of the Adobe Photoshop Textile Designer extension - probably best to watch some videos first so you can dive straight in with experimentations: https://www.adobe.com/uk/products/textiledesigner.html#x

I really prefer Illustrator to design my creations, but if I want to design a series of patterns quickly, still being able to keep my colours and layers separated and more...then I will use this Photoshop extension in the future.

A mentioned above I still prefer to use Illustrator for my best work - maybe Adobe could create exactly the same extension for Illustrator - I know there is the Pattern Maker already, but using exactly the same interface would then be so seamless when going from one title to another.

Consumer Product Collaborations

Tissue Box Mock-up using my one of my latest designs 'Fields of Gold'.

I am now looking for consumer product refreshes or new start-ups to be involved with.
I have recently been approached by a company looking for a product refresh and I am looking
forward to potentially seeing my designs in some very well known stores once there project is complete.

Although I have mainly worked with textile agents and fashion studios over the years, I am now
also focusing on getting my designs on various consumer products which are in various stores.
I love collaborating with companies and other designers so if I can assist you in any way - just get
in touch.

Italian Inspiration

I love travelling around Italy and have been lucky enough to explore many regions over the past few years. I have just designed 2 new Italian inspired designs that are now available for sale on GraphicModa. Both designs are in a half drop repeat.

I still have many areas of Italy to explore including Turin, Milan, Lake Como, Rome, Sorrento & Capri which are my next destinations!

'Fields of Gold'

When I posted my latest design 'Fields of Gold' I did not really go into any detail about the inspiration for this design. It originally started off being inspired by the summer harvest and the types of wild plants you find growing around the crops.
What I really like about the creative community is that there is always somebody willing to show appreciation or recommend other ways to improve the final outcome. I really admire a lot of other designers out there and Davinder Madaher is one of those designers who I have found so inspiring over the years and very helpful to others. I especially love watching his Instagram posts and I would thoroughly recommend anybody to follow him on any social platform. So I was really happy to receive his reaction to my latest design which he recommended that I flipped some colours around...I knew before I had made this small change that it was going to work so well as there is a lot of bright pops of colours...so a black background would just set things off perfectly! As you will see from my previous post the background was Grey and now it is Black. The previous Black motifs have been swapped with the Grey background. So here is the result as promised. Thanks again Davinder Madaher

I also inverted this design to give it a very light background...I think it also works...
what do you think?
