All my designs are created using actual objects - mostly natural objects. I scan these and manipulate them in Adobe Illustrator to form a vector based motif that I then layer up to form a repeat pattern formation. What you see below is just the seamless repeat tile.
I am currently reworking some older versions of each design in the hope that I can sell these designs for commercial projects.
For example, if 'Spring Fields' was purchased, the buyer would receive:
- x1 - Main Design
- x5 bonus colourways of the same design
- All variations come with their own Adobe Illustrator file and repeat tile (JPEG)
- All elements on separate layers for easy amendments - you might want to create your own colourways which would be easy to make adjustments.
- I have also included the original scans of the objects I have used to form the individual motifs. If I do not use an object in the process, I include a scan of the original drawing I did that formed the motif. Sometimes I like to combine hand drawn elements and actual objects!
If I was the purchaser myself, I would want good value for money, knowing I had the full flexibility to make adjustments or further create some co-ordinating designs for example.
I feel I have a unique style of work and anybody who has purchased my work will know I take my time to ensure my layers are titled accordingly to make life as easy as possible.
